How to Know What YOU Really Want. Sometimes we need to make a decision, but we don’t even know what we want. Without knowing what we want we can’t make a decision. Here is a simple 3 Step Process for figuring out what YOU really want:
Step 1: Visualize What YOU Want. Considered all the options and the alternatives. Visualize each one in great detail, appeal to as many of your senses as possible. If you are considering a new house with a big yard verses a new condo in a high-rise building. Consider your weekends…how will you spend your free time? Where and how will you relax at home? What will you hear when you are at home? What will you smell?
Step 2: How do You Feel? After considering all the options, which ones make you feel yummy inside? Which ones bring you angst?
Step 3: Talk to Your Friends. This is not necessarily to get their opinions, but more for you to start talking about your choices. For you to formulate your thoughts, hear your possible decisions, and socialize your choices until you settle on what sounds right to YOU.
